Pam Hartwell-Herrero grew up on a hobby farm in Minnesota and learned sustainability the easy way, by living it. Raised by a mother and grandmother who were dedicated volunteers, Pam learned to live sustainably by doing. She served as the Executive Director of Sustainable Fairfax, Marin County’s leading organization on sustainability advocacy and education for six years, was a board member of Sustainable Marin during that time. In 2009 she was elected to the Fairfax Town Council, and later served as Mayor of Fairfax.
